The personal side...

I am a Canadian citizen who moved to Melbourne, Australia in May 2006 with my husband, Sean. Although I will be building my client base in Australia, I continue to coach and consult to clients in North America.

While I love my work, I also enjoy time off. I make time for hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and just about any other sport that gets me out of the city. I also enjoy traveling and experiencing new cultures and have been fortunate to have traveled throughout Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Thailand, the Cook Islands, and parts of Tanzania and Ethiopia. My goal is to visit each continent at least once in the next ten years.

Community involvement is important to me. For the last six years I have been a mentor to young women, 17 to 18 years of age, who are making the transition from high school to post-secondary education. I have also volunteered with Room to Read, an organization that builds schools, libraries and computer labs in developing nations. Since arriving in Australia I have joined Conservation Volunteers Australia and look forward to doing my part to rehabilitate some of this country's protected spaces and wildlife.

In quieter moments I like to read, enjoy cooking for friends, baking, and relish great discussions over coffee on a sunny patio. I've recently tried my hand at comedy improvisation and I'm hoping 2006 is the year that I finally learn to play the guitar.

The professional side...

I am an organizational effectiveness and change management consultant and coach, with experience in guiding individuals, teams and organizations through change.

I have coached individuals and teams to help them reach their full potential and sustain positive change. My coaching skills are always in play and are an integral part of my success as a consultant. From a consulting perspective, I have supported the development and implementation of change strategies, conducted organizational and team assessments, coordinated stakeholder consultations, facilitated meetings and planning sessions, served as a project manager and delivered training programs.

My clients span a wide range of public and private sectors including universities, hospitals and health care organizations, government departments, and companies in the technology, manufacturing, distribution and not-for-profit sectors.

In addition to 13 years of business experience in a variety of industries, I hold a Masters degree in Applied Behavioural Science specializing in consulting and coaching in organizations and a Bachelor of Arts degree. I am trained as a Co-Active coach through the Coaches Training Institute and I am a member of the International Coach Federation.
